We cover a large service area within Eastern Pennsylvania, central and Southern New Jersey, and Northern Delaware, And because we provide a full mobile service-truck (my shop on wheels) to any driveway, parking lot, or campground within a two hour radius of Ambler, Pennsylvania,
all service calls will be charged a Service Call fee.
This fee is charged once at the initial call and is not charged on return calls for the same issue. If I have to come back with parts, there is no additional fee.
If I have to come back for any reason within 3 months for the exact same service issue, there is no additional fee.
Some services are billed at a flat rate, for example: installing a new air conditioner that is already wired and ducted is a flat rate. Any additional work that needs to be done to make your RV ready for install is an hourly rate plus the flat rate install cost.
Most jobs are billed at an hourly rate. I will always provide a good faith estimate prior to commencing the work.
If the estimate is more than you expected and you choose not to do the work and I have come out to diagnose, you will still be charged the service call fee.
We accept:
Cash or check (preferred)
All major credit/debit cards--3% fee*
Venmo--3% fee*
*Due to processing fees charged by the credit card companies.
Payment is required at the time of service.
All parts ordered for your repair or upgrade will be charged up front.
Special order, electrical, or unit specific parts are not returnable or refundable unless there is a verified manufacturer defect.
We require payment up front for all work performed on your RV. We will provide the paperwork you need to complete your warranty claim. It is up to you to get reimbursed from the warranty company.
Some warranty companies cap the amount of labor they will cover based on flat rate averages. Some will cap the service call and labor rate as well. We do not reduce rates to match what is authorized, and any difference becomes an out-of-pocket expense for the RV owner. The RV owner is required to pay any deductibles and any uncovered charges not authorized by the warranty provider. All charges are to be paid at time of repairs.
We will provide you with an itemized list of diagnosis and corrections made for repairs. Once payment has been processed and received, we will provide you with the paid invoice for your records.
Because of specific training requirements and liability issues we do not work on generators. We do not install or remove generators. If a generator is in the way of completing a repair we cannot begin the repair until the generator is removed.
Yes, we are happy to install customer supplied parts or accessories.
We take no responsibility for incorrect fitment of customer ordered parts.
We do not offer a warranty on the customer supplied part we installed.
We will honor our installation work if the supplied part is an exact fit and no modifications are required to complete the install.
We are a mobile service, we do not have a shop.
I often meet people in parking lots if there is no space to work on their units at their home.
Your RV can be worked on in your storage facility (you must be on-site for storage facility work)
If you are outside our service area, I will meet you somewhere within our service area to perform your work.
